The Junior Showcase is for youngsters to show off their talent and gain
performance experience by playing a bluegrass instrument on the
stage (with sound system) either as individuals, or in a group.

Participants may
sign up at any time before 3:30 on Saturday. Check with
the ticket table for signup and warm-up location.
The following
rules will apply to all performers in the Junior Showcase -
- Featured
participants must be 15 years old or younger.
- Supporting
(backup) musicians of any age may be on stage to help out the
featured performer, but should not be featured in the
songs/tunes if over the stated age limit.
- Song/tune
selections will be limited to 2 or 3
per act (groups or individuals). Additional selections
may be permitted as time permits at the discretion of festival
organizers.

Only Junior Showcase participants
and their support musicians are allowed backstage (in the Green
Room), and only during the Junior
Showcase event. The backstage area is restricted to stage
performing musicians at all other times.
